We live in a society where stress, productivity and hyperactivity are highly valued. On the contrary, resting and relaxing are not perceived as important, let alone productive or useful. As time passes, I learn to appreciate the hours of rest, contemplation, doing nothing or even getting bored. This so-called “empty” time is necessary to refill our bucket and recharge batteries. It allows our mind and body to regenerate and feel better afterwards. It gives us a chance to make room for new and unexpected experiences in our lives, that we would be unable to welcome if we had been busy all the time.

The painting is signed on the front and back. The edges are painted, creating a continuity with the painting.

SHIPPING: Shipping costs are due by the buyer. As soon as you agree to acquire an artwork, I will calculate the shipping costs and inform you. Orders are carefully prepared and shipped fully insured with tracking. Please note that international collectors are responsible for any applicable customs duties, VAT, or import taxes required by their country. You will receive the painting unstreched and rolled in a tube. It will need to be sent to a framer to be mounted back on stretcher bars. You may expect your painting to ship within 8 days of your purchase date.
